Time-Warner/Roadrunner Update — May 2007

Still nothin’.

They were supposed to do some line testing or something and get back to me either way. That was nearly two months ago now. Of course, this is/was the second time they were supposed to do this testing; the first time, they never actually did it at all.

I’ve tried calling them, but I can’t get through without terrible wait times (I’ve had 1/2-hour-plus hold times, and have frequently had to give up waiting), and the situation has gotten so complicated with details of visits and things I’ve tried on my end to reproduce the problem that it’s nearly impossible to explain over the phone anyway. Figuring out who to contact at Time-Warner has not been easy either.

I’m a patient person, however. I want to see if they end up doing the right thing. Meanwhile, I have received some credits for the lacking service, and that’s nice, but it’s not really enough (especially now, months later)… I want the service to actually work. I don’t think that’s too much to ask, do you?
